DESCRIPTION: The Danny Gatton Signature Telecaster guitar is based on Gatton's heavily customized '53 Telecaster. The cubic zirconium side markers will reflect light even on the darkest stages; other features include a swamp ash body, specially shaped maple neck with 22 frets, dual Bill Lawrence-designed pickups based on the original specs of Gatton's personal instrument, and a special Telecaster bridge and saddles.
The first batch of Telecaster was made with Gatton coming in to the factory and personally bend the switches which he preferred. The bent switch was a modification that Danny used so he could easily grab the switch with his pinky finger. The Switch also dont have the indentation between selections.
Only the early year models have bent switches from factory.
